Sanctus from Requiem by Gabriel Faure.  Arranged for brass quintet with moderate difficulty.


This arrangement is a duet between the Horn and the Trombone.  The difficulty is not great for these melody parts.  The trumpet parts are where you find the challenge as they take turns playing the rolling arpeggios that provide much of the harmonic foundation.  This piece was originally written for SATB choir and orchestra or organ if you don't happen to have an orchestra at your command.

 

Alternate parts are included.so this arrangement can be used by ensembles of just about any instrumentation (woodwinds, brass, strings, or any combination. 


This arrangement is for 2 trumpets, horn trombone, and tuba.
