Christ the Lord is Risen Today is a well loved hymn that is very popular around Easter.

This hymn was written by Charles Wesley.  The tune is known as Easter Hymn and also Lyra Davidica.

Christ the Lord is risen today, Alleluia!

Sons of men and angel say: Alleluia!

Raise your joys and triumph high, Alleluia!

Sing, ye heavens, and earth reply: Alleluia!

The 4 Hymns Series is designed to be flexible enough to allow any combination of instruments to play and still provide a quality sound.  Each piece in the 4 Hymns Series has a melody and three harmony parts.  The 4th part is usually a bass type harmony but my goal is to make all three harmony parts playable with the melody and still make a decent duet.  The 2nd and 3rd part are also playable with the melody and any other part for a duet or trio.  The idea is to give you the flexibility to mix and match parts and instrumentation so you can arrange the song they way you want it to be.  Each 4 Hymns Series song is transposed for most if not all possible instruments (treble and bass clef).

To read more about the 4 Hymns Series go to the About HGM page.

You get all transpositions included with your download.  I will provide additional parts if you need them at no additional cost.
